What is Pika H3 Flex?
Pika H3 Flex is a text-to-video and image-to-video model that Pika released on October 29, 2026. It is a post-trained version of MiniMax H3, tuned for fast, repeatable iteration rather than one long render: it samples in six steps and produces 5–15 second clips at 24 fps with synchronized stereo audio — dialogue, music, effects and ambience generated together with the picture.
The model renders natively at 480p or 768p. Pika's hosted service then offers 1080p, 2K and 4K by upscaling the 768p result while keeping the audio and frame rate. Pika says a 15-second 768p clip can be generated in as little as about seven seconds of model compute, and reports a #7 placing on DesignArena's text-to-video quality board at launch.
Pika also released the weights openly — as LoRA adapters on the 33B MiniMax H3 base — so the model can run in ComfyUI or diffusers if you have a datacenter-class GPU. This site runs the hosted version for you, so you only need a browser.

Why use it
What you can do with Pika H3 Flex
A short-clip video model with native audio — tuned for the try-adjust-retry loop of real creative work.
Audio rendered in the same pass
Every clip comes with synchronized stereo audio. Describe voices, music, effects and room tone in the prompt and they land on the same timeline as the motion.
Built for fast iteration
Six-step sampling keeps generations quick, so you can try several takes of a shot, compare them and keep the best one instead of waiting on a single render.
Prompt, start frame or end frame
Start from a prompt, or upload a first frame, a last frame or both to animate a photo, keep a character consistent or bridge two shots.
480p drafts, 4K finals
Explore ideas cheaply at 480p or 768p, then re-run the keeper at 1080p, 2K or 4K. Higher resolutions are upscaled from 768p by Pika’s service.
Six aspect ratios, 21:9 to 9:16
16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 and 4:3 for feeds, 21:9 for cinematic shots.
Only pay for finished videos
If a generation fails, times out or is blocked by the safety filter, its credits go straight back to your balance.

Pika H3 Flex questions, answered
What is Pika H3 Flex?
+
Pika H3 Flex is an AI video model released by Pika on October 29, 2026. It is a post-trained version of MiniMax H3 built for fast iteration: it samples in six steps, generates 5–15 second clips at 24 fps with synchronized stereo audio, and accepts text prompts as well as first and last frames. Pika also published the weights openly as LoRA adapters on the H3 base model.
Is this the official Pika website?
+
No. PikaH3Flex is an independent service that runs the Pika H3 Flex model through Pika’s developer API and gives you a simple browser studio, credits and download history. We are not affiliated with Pika Labs or MiniMax.
Is there a free trial?
+
No. Every generation costs real GPU time, so the generator is available on paid plans and credit packs only. Plans start at $14.90 per month for 300 credits (about 15 five-second 768p clips), or $11.90 per month billed yearly. Prefer not to subscribe? The one-time Starter pack is 190 credits for $9.90, and pack credits never expire. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
How many credits does a video cost?
+
Credits are charged per second of output: 480p = 2 credits/s, 768p = 4 credits/s, 1080p = 7 credits/s, 2K = 8 credits/s and 4K = 16 credits/s. A 5-second 768p clip costs 20 credits; a 15-second 4K clip costs 240 credits. The exact cost is shown on the Generate button before you start.
How long can a Pika H3 Flex video be?
+
Each generation is 5, 10 or 15 seconds long at 24 fps. Pika H3 Flex is designed for short, high-iteration clips rather than long single takes, so plan longer edits as several shots.
Does Pika H3 Flex generate sound?
+
Yes. Audio is generated together with the picture as synchronized stereo sound — dialogue, music, sound effects and ambience. Describe the sound you want in your prompt for best results.
Is 4K output native?
+
No. Pika H3 Flex renders natively at 480p or 768p. The 1080p, 2K and 4K options are produced by upscaling a 768p generation on Pika’s hosted service, with audio and frame rate preserved. That is why higher resolutions cost more credits.
Can I turn an image into a video?
+
Yes. Switch to Image to Video and upload a start frame, an end frame, or both (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB). Then describe the motion, camera and sound. Using both frames lets the model interpolate a transition between them.
What happens if a generation fails?
+
If the model returns an error, a content-safety block or a timeout, the credits for that generation are returned to your balance automatically. You only pay for videos that finish.
Can I use the videos commercially?
+
Paid plans and credit packs include commercial use of the videos you generate, subject to our Terms of Service and the model provider’s acceptable-use rules. We do not add a watermark.
Do I need a GPU to run Pika H3 Flex?
+
Not here — everything runs in the cloud. Running the open weights yourself is possible but heavy: the release is a set of LoRA adapters on the 33B MiniMax H3 base, and community reports point to an 80 GB-class GPU and roughly 215 GB of downloads. See our ComfyUI guide for details.
How long are my videos kept?
+
Your finished videos are listed under My videos so you can replay and download them. Download anything you want to keep — we do not guarantee long-term storage of generated files.
